Common questions

How do I connect the Apple Health app?

Tempo asks during setup. Tick the consent box, tap Connect, and choose which categories to share. If you skipped it or turned something off later:

  1. Open Settings › Privacy & Security › Health › Tempo on your iPhone.
  2. Turn on the categories you want Tempo to read (workouts, heart rate, sleep and so on).
  3. Open Tempo again — new runs come in automatically.

Tempo reads your runs from the Apple Health app, so keep recording on your watch or favourite app as usual. If a run is missing, check that the app that recorded it is saving workouts to the Apple Health app.

Can I use a Peloton Tread?

Yes. Turn on the Apple Health connection in the Peloton app on your iPhone (in its settings) and allow it to save workouts. Your Tread runs then reach the Apple Health app, and Tempo picks them up from there. Runs show up after the Peloton app has synced, which may need you to open it once.

I already subscribed. How do I restore my purchase?

On the Tempo Premium screen, tap Restore purchases. Make sure you’re signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy. If it still doesn’t unlock, email us.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your iPhone, choose Tempo, and tap Cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period. You keep access until the period you’ve paid for ends. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel a subscription.

How many messages can I send Remi?

Tempo Premium includes 100 messages a month. The count resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st, and unused messages don’t roll over. When Remi proposes a plan change and reports back the result, that follow-up doesn’t use an extra message.

What does Remi see?

Only when you’ve agreed in the app: your message plus a snapshot of your plan, recent run summaries, readiness numbers and goal. We don’t store your messages or health information. See the Privacy Policy for details, and how to turn it off.

Something hurts. What should I do?

Use the Should I run today? check in the app — it applies Tempo’s pain rules and can adjust your plan. Tempo offers wellness guidance, not medical advice: if pain persists or gets worse, see a clinician. If you have chest pain, faint or have trouble breathing, stop and seek medical care right away.
